Hello again!

I’m excited to announce that I am now offering giclée prints of my oil paintings. “Giclées” are faithful, actual-size reproductions of my works as professional prints.

Each print is supplied in a black archival matte and is packed with a foamcore backer in a clear envelope, ready for framing under glass ... or sending as a gift; it also includes a small card (without the price) with my name and the title of the work, and gift-wrapping is available (see below).

Here are the three prints I'm currently offering (tap or click on any of the images to view larger versions):

Midsummer Field

5” x 7” print

This field, near my home, is where horses are turned loose for the summer, to graze. I think it captures a tranquil country day that we would all like to experience!

Pear Council

5” x 7” print

I adore pears — so many shapes and personalities! These three might be having a lively conversation about which is more handsome.

Apple, Pear, Acorn

8” x 10” print

A collection of Fall friends where I think the acorn is holding its own, even though she is the smallest — a future mighty oak sitting well with companions.

11” x 14” black matte

Prices are $90 for each 5” x 7” print, and $140 for the 8” x 10” print.

Prices include USPS Priority Mail shipping to addresses in the continental USA.
Additional charges for other USA addresses, and Canada.

I can ship prints directly to recipients as gifts: I’ll gift-wrap them in my signature pear wrapping paper and include a custom gift card with your choice of message.

To order, contact me via email with the names and quantities of prints that you’d like, where you’d like me to ship them, and any information you’d like added to the gift card(s). I’ll email you back with the total order amount, and a link to pay me via PayPal (they accept all major credit cards).

I hope you’ll consider these prints as gifts for others ... or even for yourself! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email.

Best wishes for the holidays and beyond!

Patricia

P.S. I also have a limited number of framed versions of these prints availablecontact me for more information, photos and pricing.

“Where I live in Columbia County, New York, there are many, many orchards, so I can study the pears and apples as they grow on the trees and sometimes take them back to my studio to paint. There is endless variety and challenge in dealing with the forms — especially the classic pear. The timeless tranquility of the Dutch and Italian still life tradition is one I feel very much at home with.

I am still amazed by the quality of the light in the Hudson River Valley. The Hudson River School of painting, which began with Thomas Cole and Fredrick Church, inspired me to capture these beautiful landscapes — extending from the Berkshires and Taconics to the Catskill ranges — in my own works.

I hope that my paintings will act as touchstones to bring an element of peace and beauty, and perhaps the affirmation of the importance of nature in people’s lives.”

Patricia received a BFA from the University of Maryland. In New York City, she studied with Ray Goodbred and Robert Beverly Hale at the Art Students League, attended the National Academy of Design, and taught ceramics at Marymount Manhattan College. Local exhibitions of her work include The Spencertown Academy (2000–2019) and The Old Chatham Country Store (2008 & 2011).
